Ate breakfast every morning while staying in Custer. Great food, friendly people, and waitresses.

I've always been under the impression that this restaurant was a dive. Biy...was I wrong!! This morning my girlfriend and I stopped in for breakfast. The wait staff was exceptional, the food was fabulous, the prices are more than fair! This is my new favorite breakfast place!!

I have been a regular customer for many years and the food is always great. The service is always great. This hometown America at it's best.

Great friendly restaurant. Very clean. Family oriented establishment. Pancakes as large as the plate. Waffles too! If every in town Our Place is the place to be.

We started visiting Our Place several years ago when visiting the Black Hills and have since moved here. I gotta tell you this is the best old time home town cafe you will find anyplace in the Black Hills. The food is SUPERB and the staff are fast, kind and just good people. The prices are fantastic for the huge portions of great tasting food you get as well. There are not many places that treat you like a local even if your not but this place does. Seriously how many places that see as many faces in a day as they do can after only a few visits call you by name when you walk thru the door ? .....in our experiences only one.....Our Place.

This little home grown restaurant is just great. Old and full of character this restaurant had great food cooked just as specified and the wait staff were so nice and efficient. I wish I lived closer. It would be a favorite. Not fancy by any standards but homey and comfortable.

Stopped by for a morning breakfast, I got the western omlete, biscuit and gravy with some coffee. Service was sorta ok, didn't seem friendly. Atmosphere is very 1950s aesethic. Good portions of food for a total price of $14. It's an ok breakfast as needed, but i wasn't wowed by it and I don't know if id come again.

Let’s just start with the fact that Dianne, the owner, showed us incredible kindness as we found our table. Amazingly sweet with my nieces, provided coloring books, stories and many smiles. Then, the food was terrific, timely, and we received more smiles. We will make a point to stop here next time we are in South Dakota.

I loved the vintage atmosphere, the GREAT food and the nice people. If you are a fan of Harley Davidson or Betty Boop you can't definitely miss this place, and bring some Betty's gadgets or dolls to enrich their big collection. We had a tasty sandwich with fresh made fries and a great meatloaf.

We came in on Thursday and the place was pretty busy! However, we were seated promptly and greeted with coffee instantaneously. The special was hard to beat for $6! Our waitress was awesome and quite the comedian with tasteful jokes. Wow! Breakfast was served fast and cooked to perfection! I would definitely recommend this place.

You walk into an unofficial museum of Betty Boop items! Lots of fun photos hanging up too. We sat ourselves but I'm not sure if that's the norm.Counter seating seems to be the favorite for the locals who stop in. Right around 6:30 am it started to get real busy but our waitress was still right on point with coffee refills.Pretty nice selection of breakfast items. Coffee was continually filled, yeah!If you like your hash browns crispy you might want to request that. Mine came out cooked but soft. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sour dough toast was nice and buttery.Great place to stop, at least for breakfast, if you're in this area and want good food and great service. Nothing fancy but down to earth goodness.

Friendly service and fast orders. I had the chili cheese omelet and it was delicious. I would go back for a bowl of the homemade chili!

Our go-to restaurant for breakfast since 2003. Staff has always be great to us, food has been great. Has a flavor all it's own with the decor and local feel. Feels good to be there.

Price is just right for the amount of food you get and it tastes great.

We had a really good breakfast here. The place was busy and the wait staff was providing great service. Our meal portions were generous and everything well prepared. We had one meal with a special preparation requested and they accomodated us with no problem. The interior decore is full of things to look at and enjoy.

Good food ,but servers not to friendly, will come back though. They charge 4% to use a credit card.

First of all the food was great but as like most of the reviews I have read, it is where the locals go but they should learn to treat everyone the same. We waited forever to get our drinks while the waitress catered to all the locals that came in. I gave it 3 stars because of the great food but the service could have been better. They need to realize if it weren't for the tourists that town would pretty much dwindle down in size, and the locals won't keep that restaurant alive all year by ordering coffee and gossiping all morning. Would probably visit it again but just for the good food.
